This interlocked Centrifuge is constructed with a steel body with fourplace swing out rotor complete with removable aluminum buckets. The safety interlock, prevents the lid being opened until the rotor is at rest.
Safety Features
- In the case of power failure the lid remains in the locked position.
- The product can only be operated if the lid is correctly closed and locked in position.
- Control panel has a series of indicator lamps - for rotor on, lid locked and rotor run down
- Viewing window in lid for observing rotor.

Notes :
1. With the swing out rotor supplied with Centrifuge, four bucket holders, 17mm internal diameter, recommended Centrifuge tubes: Pyrex 1660/02M 16mm x 90mm - glass; Nalgene 3110-0120 16mm x 101mm - polypropylene; Fisher TES-600-029R 10mm x 75mm - glass and Fisher TES-600-071S 16mm x 100mm - these are medium walled, borosilicate glass Test tubes.
2. Where Vacutainer tubes are used and rumbling is reported when the rotor is running at maximum speed this is because the tubes exceed their "use by date".
