Drug& Medicine Trolleys - Monitored Dosage System, MDS Frames

Features

• Drug & medicine trolleys suitable for the storage and dispensing of the blister packed monitored dosage system (MDS)
• Frames supported on either a fixed panel mounted to he inside rear of the trolley or on three adustable slide out shelves (frames not supplied)
• Single-point locking
• Lminate work surface
• Push handles fitted to both endes incorporating integral buffers to protect the fabric of the building as well as assisting in manoeuvring the trolley
• Fold over flap fitted to the door complete with integral bracket to support MDS frames whilst dispensing
• Removable and adjustable door shelves to accommodate bottles/packs (can be spaced to allow for the storage pf larger items)
• Supplied with a plastic dispensing tray
• Plastic debris bin supplied for use with bracket fitted to side of trolley
• 125mm swivel castors
• Available with a drawer for the storage of loose items (model dependant)
• Can be secured to the fabric of the building usin a security clamp MT/1/6F

Drug & Medicine Trolleys - Security Clamp

Features

• Allows the trolley to be secured to the "fabric of the building"
• Suitable for all UD and MT trolleys
• Requires no additional keys, utilising the trolleys own locking system
• One end is secured to the wall, the "hook shaped" end is trapped by the door/lid of the trolley when closed and locked
• Recommended wall fitting height approx 1000mm

Important Note - Security Clamps

It is a requirement that when the trolley is not in use it should be secured to the "fabric of the building". Not only does this prevent casual theft, i.e. trolleys being pushed to an isolated area and broken into, but also encourages good nursing practice, giving the trolley a "permanent home"

Features

• Trolleys designed for the distribution of drugs & medicines from Pharmacy
• Provides secure drug delivery to wards using boxes which when locked are securely fastened to the trolley
• Single-point locking using CAM locks (each supplied with 2 keys)
• Trolleys are supplied as standard with locks to differ, allowing each ward to have its own key and to be responsible for removal of the box from the trolley. The remaining key should be kept in the pharmacy
• Master keys are available (additional cost)
